Community-Based Mentoring

A Little Time Makes A Big Impact

Bigs and Littles spend 2-3 hours together, 2-3 times each month, having fun in and around Tucson. You might play catch in the park, attend a UofA basketball game, or go out to eat. You and your Little Brother or Little Sister will share activities that you both enjoy, or try new things together. Plan your outings whenever it’s convenient for you!

Being a Big is all about sharing enjoyable experiences with a child in need. It doesn’t take a lot of time or money, or any special skills. All you need is a willingness to be a friend to a child who needs a positive role model. Bigs consistently tell us that they “get back more than they give,” and having a Big changes a child’s life for the better, forever!

To be a Big Brother or Big Sister you must meet the following requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Graduated high school or have obtained a GED
  • Own a car
  • Current car insurance

Are you ready to get started? Are you ready to change a child's life for the better? Excellent! Just fill out the questionnaire below and we'll follow up with you to explain the process and arrange for an in-person interview. Don't wait another day to be a part of positive change in the world. #LiveBIG today.
