AZ Tax Credits

Qualify for up to $400 in dollar-for-dollar tax credits (if you itemize your return, you may qualify for a tax credit of up to $400 for couples filing jointly; individuals or head of household filers can claim a credit of up to $200). 

Our community's families and children need your help more than ever. Donate today and money that you normally would pay in taxes will be used to benefit your community.

It is easier than ever to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for your donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson.   BBBST is a Qualifying Organization for the AZ State Tax Credit for the Working Poor, so if you make your donation by December 31, you can claim a tax credit for 2011 that reduces dollar for dollar what you pay in state income tax.

How does it work?

Donate to an Qualified Organization such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson that serves the working poor.

1. Prepare your state tax return – you must itemize to qualify for the credit!
2. Complete Arizona Tax Form 321 and include it with your state return.
3. Giving - and receiving your tax credit! - is easier than ever!

Note: Recent state law changes mean you no longer need to compare current year donations to prior year donations; in other words, the “baseline year” requirement has been eliminated.
