Q: Will you come to my house and pick up my clothing donation?
A: Yes, just call 624-7039 and we’ll schedule a convenient curb-side pick up.
Q: What items do you accept?
A: We mainly take gently used clothing, shoes, clothing accessories (belts, hats, etc.), as well as small household items such as coffee tables, TV’s under 27”, blenders, toasters, computers, monitors, chairs, wood desks, etc. Items that can be lifted by a single person will be accepted during regular neighborhood donation pickups.
Q: Do you also accept large household items?
A: We can also accept many furniture items such as couches (no sleepers, please!), loveseats, recliner chairs, and others, as long as they are in resaleable condition (no rips, tears or stains). Please call us to schedule a special pickup date for these larger items.
Q: How does my donation help kids?
A: The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson Donation Center collects donations and sells them to local Savers Thrift Stores with 100% of all proceeds supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson and its youth mentoring services.
Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: Check with your accountant, but in most instances, YES. We’ll leave a receipt for you with all curb-side services and we will mail you a receipt for bin donations upon request – just call us at 624-7039.
Q: Are there certain items you can't take?
A: All items must be in good resaleable condition - 'gently used'. Large furniture must be free of rips, tears, or stains.
Items that we specifically are unable to take include: mattresses; mirrors; box springs; sleeper sofas; futons; large appliances (refrigerators, washing machines,etc.); heavy office equipment (metal desks, copier machines); weapons; hazardous waste; automobile parts and similar items.

Q: Do you accept donations of vehicles?
A: Yes! To donate a vehicle, please call 624-2447 and ask for the Vehicle Donation Coordinator.
