A lasting friendship

I have been matched for over 3 years now. My "little" is a really great person. I have noticed that he doesn't need time with me as much as he did during our 1st year. When we were first matched we saw each other almost every weekend, and now he's in a strong place. In many ways, he's found himself, I mean the person he loves to be. His mom is a rock, so involved and so important to him. But I do know that there was a time when we shaped each other. When we both healed a part of our hearts. I couldn't explain how it happend, and I'm fine with that mystery. PS, the gal who matched us, did a rather incredible job of it. We had so many common interests, and I recall that she was quite sure of it. And he was only 2 blocks from my house (HA, go figure). She helped make a lasting impression in our lives a very likely thing.
